Stop It Right Now
I bet I have your attention! Those four words are going to change your life in more way then one. Stop It Right Now is all about the 3 things we need to do in order to be able to master our thoughts. It may sounds easy enough, but I assure you it’s not. Why, because we are human and as humans we are creatures of habit. We do what we have always done most of the time without evening thinking if what we are doing is to any benefit to our lives. What Sop It Right Now is going to do is help you break those habits that are not helping but hurting you. These non-supportive habits are killing us mental, spiritual, and finically. Here are the 3 main things you need to do right now at this moment to not only change your life, but save it as well. Stop Complaining Stop Blaming Stop Justifying Stop Complaining – This might be the hardest one to stop, but the most important one to stop doing. When you are complaining about what is wrong with your life, your situation, you are drawing attention to it. What your focus on expands. The more energy and attention you give to something the bigger it gets. Instead of complaining to others as well as to yourself (talking in your head), start thinking about what you are grateful for. From the smallest thing like catching the bus on time for work to the big things like your family and home. Believe me, the more you talk about the good things going on in your life the more good things you will get in return. Will there be moments when you want to scream because something went wrong? Of course, but instead of doing that, try to look at the other side of the coin. You will see how fast your mood changes. I am not saying don’t deal with problems as they come up, but don’t look at them as the end of the world. See them as the next step to getting where you need to go. Each bump in the road is not a personal attack on your character, but a test of your will power to keep focused on your goals no matter what. Stop Blaming – Yes stop blaming everyone else for your problems. Stop blaming the world for you place in it. Stop blaming your parents for not being there, stop blaming your boss for not giving you that raise, stop blaming your spouse for not making you happy. You set the example of how people treat you. When you set a bad example then you have no one to blame but yourself. Will people do and say things that are unfair, not right, and mean? Of course they will, but you are the only one responsible for your reaction to what goes on in your life. You can’t blame anyone for your life but you. It is time to start taking responsibility for your role in your life. Only you are responsible for your happiness. Stop Justifying – Please stop justifying why you are where you are in life. By justifying why you are broke by saying things like money is not everything, or he only hits me when I do something wrong. Then you are going to continue to get what you always got. Most people are insane and don’t even realize it. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over looking for a new result. We are not insane we are missed informed. I challenge you to stop complaining, blaming, and justify right now today. I challenge you to only think and speak of those things that support who you are and who you want to be. I challenge you to take some responsibility for the role you play in your life. It will take a couple of days to get the hang of it, yet I promise you it is going to be a weight lifted off your shoulders.
